real learning occurs when undertaking a challenging activity.
Wherever possible, any additional training is provided internally
and on the job - if this is practical. If we do not have the right
people in house to provide training, we ask in suitable external
consultants.
We determine the need for individual development using our procedure
for reviewing objectives, achievements, and development. This
is used as a basis for regular discussion of development prospects,
with suitable measures agreed as a result.
