Albert Gnägi (1944), a resident of Zollikon, has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAM Group Holding AG since early 2007. Gnägi was a successful independent attorney for more than 30 years and enjoys an outstanding reputation, particularly in his field of specialization: corporate, commercial and inheritance law. In addition to his professional know-how, Gnägi has extensive experience from his membership on the boards of other companies, including his positions as Chairman of the Board of listed Forbo Holding AG (since 2005), and formerly of Selecta Group (1997-2001) and Immuno International AG (1991-1997). Moreover, his commitment extends to activities in socially-oriented institutions, namely in his functions as former President of the Sanitas Hospital Foundation and Member of the Board of Trustees of See-Spital and Pestalozzi Foundation.
Roderick Munsters, CEO of Robeco
Roderick Munsters (1963), a Dutch and Canadian citizen, has been Chief Executive Officer of Robeco since September 1, 2009. From March 2006 to August 2009, Roderick Munsters was a member of the Executive Board and Chief Investments Officer of APG Group. Between April 2005 and March 2008, Munsters was a member of the Executive Board and Chief Investment Officer of pension fund ABP. Prior to joining ABP, he was an Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer of pension fund PGGM between 1997 and 2005. Previously, he worked for the investment department of the insurance company Interpolis. He graduated in Business Economics from Tilburg University and holds a Master's degree in Finance from the TIAS Business School. In addition, Munsters is chairman of Eumedion (the Dutch Institutional Investors Corporate Governance forum) and a member of the Supervisory Board of Alpinvest Private Equity Partners. He is also a member of the Commission Financial Markets of AFM, advisor of the Investment Committee Arcadis Pension Fund as well as a member of the board of the Duisenberg School of Finance.
Leni Boeren, COO Robeco
Leni Boeren (1963) has been a member of the Management Board of Robeco Groep N.V. since January 1, 2005. She is responsible for asset management activities in the US and Switzerland as well as the Chief Operating Officer for global IT and Operations. As a delegate member of the Board of Directors of SAM Group Holding AG she supports the six members of the Executive Committee on strategic issues. Leni Boeren began her career in the financial sector at Paribas in 1983. She also worked for Rabobank, where she held various positions. She headed Robeco's marketing and product management department from 1992 to 1997. From 1997 to 2000 she was a member of the Board of Directors of Amsterdam Exchanges N.V., followed in 2000 by her appointment to the Executive Committee of Euronext N.V., where she served until January 1, 2005. Leni Boeren holds a Master's degree in Business Management from Erasmus University in Rotterdam and has completed various other university courses. In addition, Leni Boeren is a member of the board of the Dutch Fund & Asset Management Association (DUFAS) and a member of the Supervisory Board of N.V. Nuon Energy in the Netherlands.
Karin van Baardwijk, Senior Vice President Operational Risk Management Robeco
Karin van Baardwijk (1977), Dutch, has worked at Robeco since 2006 and currently holds the role of Senior Vice President of Operational Risk Management. Prior to Robeco, Van Baardwijk worked as a Financial Services Consultant for Atos KPMG Consulting. Van Baardwijk holds a LLM in Corporate Law and a MSc in Business Economics from the University of Utrecht.
David J. Blumer, CIO and Member of the Group Executive Committee of SwissRe
David J. Blumer (1968), Swiss, has been the CIO and Member of the Group Executive Committee of SwissRe since 2008. In October 2010, he also assumed the role of Chairman of Admin Re®. Before joining Swiss Re, Blumer held various positions at Credit Suisse in London, New York and Zurich. Blumer holds a degree in Economics from the University of Zurich.
